[Genealib] re shelving periodicals

We have a smallish genealogy and local history collection in a separate
room with open stacks. Our periodicals have call numbers (some in the
000s and some in the 929s), but a while back most were still shelved in
alphabetical order in the back portion of the room. Interfiling the
whole room in one call number order has made life easier for the page
doing the shelving and increased use of the journals. Sooner or later
it occurs to someone who's looked at all the books on a shelf that all
those volumes of, for example, the journal of the North Carolina
Genealogical Society sitting there next to the books might have
something too.

As an added note, a while back we updated our library system and now we
can discharge items to register in-house use. So the page gathers up
everything in the room and discharges before shelving. I love having
some real data on what titles are being used.
