The Northern Islander newspaper for 1950-1956. This was a newspaper from
Saint James, Beaver Island, Lake Michigan, Michigan.

Could you verify the years? According to the Michigan.gov site at
_www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17449_18643_29527-87604--,00.html_
(http://www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17449_18643_29527-87604--,00.html) , the Northern
Islander was published by James Strang from 1850 until 1856, the year Strand
was killed. Also, you may also find listings for the paper by searching under
the county name, Charlevoix.
