Is there a website where much of the information could be posted (and added to if contributors send more)? It could then be announced in Dick Eastman's genealogy e-zine so word would get around. Lots of folks would bookmark it or make links to it from their own web pages. What a great resource!

Well, my promise back in late March to compile the info from the list discussion has finally seen the light of day --- 13 pages! of background, hints, and states ...
And of course, there must be much more out there but at least this will give you a starting point when a patron comes in looking for the elusive place of marriage.
