The third edition of UNITED STATES SUBMARINE MEN LOST DURING WORLD WAR II in
two volumes contains a beginners genealogy record of more than 3,600 men.

This is revised and with new and updated data. It is library type, hard cover
bound and each set of two volumes contains a separate State Index.

It was the US Submarine Force which suffered the highest losses of any branch
of service during that war. All the known men (more than 3,600) have now been
documented and their records published. Men from every state are listed.

A State Index has been produced, which permits a researcher to locate the
records of men associated with all the states, including foreign countries. For
example, California, the greatest number, shows 531 connections. Australia
shows 5, Canada shows 13, other states and places are indexed
