[Genealib] microfilm scanners

Attaching the microfilm scanner to the print network sounds like a
really good idea. We currently use Pharos for public PC desktop
management and print control. We are looking at either the Canon MS350
or the Minolta MS 6000, but we don't plan to attach a PC to the scanner
at this time. Is it still possible to print through the network with
the PC? Can anyone explain how to do this?
Thanks,
Lynette

We have a microfilm scanner. It's attached to our in-house print
network and people make prints using the coin-op machines. They can
also create efiles which can be downloaded to disk. (We also sell clean
disks for $1.00) We don't charge for downloading, since there's no
actual product to recover cost on.
