[Genealib] accomodating laptops

At the present time we have our microfilm readers and reader/printers
placed on long tables with enough space beside most of the machines to
place a notebook or laptop for use alongside. About half of the
machines have easily accessible electric outlets and the rest have
outlets that are not readily visible because they are behind machines or
are powerstrips on the floor.

	Hi!

We have noticed that our patrons reading our microfiche/film are
more and more transcribing this material into their laptops as they
read. We are planning on making some modifications to our floor plan in
respect to machinery layout and am wondering if any libraries have made
some accommodations for the need to use a laptop when reading from these
machines. Right now, we have some stools they can place beside them.

	Thanx in advance,
