Dear Colleagues,
Thank you very much for responding and for your patience in waiting
for the results to be compiled. In the meantime, I created a new
Web-based government documents on the Web workshop -- designed at the
request of the North Texas Regional Library System -- which is now
available for general registration. (See my sig file). I also just
sent the almost final draft of my forthcoming book _The Virtual
Reference Handbook_ to Neal-Schuman last week. Your results are in
the last section of the book on reference specific competencies.
I always post the data I've gathered on core subject reference topics
back to the lists I posted the surveys to for everyone to share. You
will find the current results for Government Documents core reference
at http://www.kovacs.com/results/govdocscore.html. Other survey
results will be going up one at a time at
http://www.kovacs.com/misc.html. Last year's data is available on
that page now - scroll down past the current survey links.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful assistance.
Cordially,
Diane
