[Genealib] CT State Library closed Sat. Aug. 5

A major upgrade to the 231 Capitol Ave. building's electrical system will be done on August 5 - 6, 2006 with the following impacts.

1) The State Library and the Museum of Connecticut History will be closed on Sat. Aug. 5.

2) The State Library's Web sites will be offline for the duration of the work, beginning Fri. Aug. 4 at 5:00 p.m. until Mon. Aug. 7 at approximately 8:00 a.m.

3) Emails to the State Library staff will not be accepted, and senders may receive "undeliverable" messages. Please re-send any e-mails that are returned on Monday, Aug. 7.

4) The phone system, including voice mail, will be shut down, resulting in a rapid busy signal.
