[Genealib] Ancestry for free?

I believe that Ancestry and LDS made a deal when Ancestry used the 1880
census index that LDS created. If I remember correctly, the LDS
libraries got free access to Ancestry as part of the deal. The index on
familysearch.org is also linked to Ancestry if you want to view the
actual census images (for a fee of course).

Subject: [Genealib] Ancestry for free?
I had an out-of-town patron visiting my genealogy department today. She
was appalled to find out we have to pay for Ancestry Library Edition.
She said she works at an LDS library and they get it for free. Not that
it affects me, but does she know what she's talking about?
