Hello all,
Should you blog?????? Why not???? I have found that blogging is the fastest way to get information out about department news, events, recent acquisitions, etc... it is really as simple as sending an email and depending on what you want the blog to do for you it is not time consuming.
We found that the posts on the blog have generated an increase in reference requests and out of state visits. And it gave us another presence on the web.
Blog = simple & effective tool to communicate with patrons and prospective patrons.

hope this helps,

Hi Joe,
I have been thinking of starting a blog but was wondering if I should. I am
going to look at yours and the Directory of Cool Genealogy Blogs.
Thanks for the information.
