[Genealib] Cartography CD/software?

Hello,

A while back (1999 or so) a patron created a map for his book.  He used
a map making software that had been on our CD computers at the time.  It
would allow him to zoom in on 3 or 4 states in an area.  He could
identify the counties his family were in and add them to the map.  He
could also identify a few cities.  Once he created the map of the area
his family was at he could print it and put it in his book.  

Does this software or CD sound familiar to anyone?  If so, is it still
available for purchase?
