Take a look at the finding aid our archivist created for a collection of
genealogical research
http://www.lancasterhistory.org/collections/archives/manuscrp/mg-0234.html
Our manuscript groups are all cataloged and the finding aids are online.

Subject: [Genealib] archival finding aids for genealogy
Dear List,
Does anyone have experience creating traditional archival finding aids
(biographical note, scope and contents of collection, series descriptions,
sub-series, etc) for genealogical manuscripts? I know I've heard of them,
but I can't seem to find one online that I can view as a sample. Thanks!
