It would really have helped if you gave us the location (at least state)
this was in. But I find a Cheshire Correctional *Center* in Connecticut
which is also a school, grades 3-12. This sounds like a logical
successor to a Reformatory. Cheshire Correctional Institution comes up
as a maximum security facility, which does not.

Librarians can do or find just about anything.
Does anyone have knowledge as to where the old records of inmates
Cheshire Boys Reformatory during 1910-1915 might be stored? During the
modernization the current staff has no idea what became of the records.
