Note that the official name of the facility was the Connecticut Reformatory. According to the following site (containing a brief history and tips for searching the State Library's holdings), the facility was known as the Cheshire Reformatory but this was never an official name:

Does anyone have knowledge as to where the old records of inmates Cheshire Boys Reformatory during 1910-1915 might be stored? During the modernization the current staff has no idea what became of the records.
