Thanks for the great powerpoint, Dawn. Another thing I would recommend, if
you'd like to download a copy of the full patent in PDF format (more
convenient than the page-by-page available from Google or the USPTO), is to
use the patent number to do a number search at the European Patent Office.
Their patents are in PDF format, and are downloadable as a whole (not
page-by-page)

You can put "US" before the number to retrieve only US patents (e.g.,
US1234567)
According to their help screens, the EPO has from facsimiles from 1836
onward for the US.
