[Genealib] Declining use of collection

I am pleased to report that there has been more usage of our collection for genealogical research.

The big reason is that we have completed an Index to death notices appearing in our local newspaper. So far, the index covers about 60 years from 1946 to the present. (There are still a number of years to be added).

The index is available online, so people are e-mailing us requests for obituary notices if they live too far away, and local researchers are bringing lists of dead people to dig up (pardon the pun) from our microfilms of the newspapers.
